I'm just going to sit here and pretend that I'm active... I have so many ideas so I hope that I'll finally have time to put them into play. I'm certainly going to upload a lot after a canoe touring trip that I'm doing that half term because it's really exciting! We're going around a lake and a stretch of the cost in Scotland so I'll post a bit about what I'm going to bring etc. But today I want to talk about climbing. I really enjoy climbing and I have been doing it for about 7 months now. I love the feeling of being on the wall so here are some photos of me doing two routes that were probably graded V0 - V1 (in basic terms, the harder of the really really easy ones). Climbing has been a big part of my life recently but it may be stopping due to kayaking and canoeing that take over everything in the summer.
Have a nice day! Zoe

On my birthday weekend, my friend Siân and I went to the lake do have a bit of fun (well I hope that it was fun anyway). It was quite a grey day but I think that in the end, when you are in the water, the colour of the sky doesn't bother you so much. There were two team crafts out at the lake. The first team was my sisters on a SUP board (yes, they paddle it duo). And the second team is myself and Siân in a canoe. I'm the one in green at the back and Siân is the one in yellow at the front. We were paddling partners in the Ardeche (a river in France) so we got into the routine quite quickly. It was time to stop being nice to each other and get out the water pistols! Little bit of a disagreement there.... Oh well, the team is back and working together to shoot at the camera man (aka my dad)! After my Dad was wet, we moved on to firing at my sisters but it turns out that we didn't need to fire at them to get them soaked as they managed to do that themselves... It was time for a tactical operation: get on the SUP! Siân boarded first while I sorted out the canoe (well you can't just leave it floating in the middle of the lake so my mum tied it into her boat with a tow line). But I soon joined in the fun! Although it looks like my time on the SUP board might be short lived... Ah... Finally, it was time to head into the edge. Either we got fatter or the boat got filled with water...
After Siân got out, I was going to do a bit of rolling but the water was too cold really and it was a bit of a shock to have my head under there for any length of time. I was a bit worried that I'd lost my roll because of the way I panicked in the cold water but at the pool session I rolled up first time so I'm a happy bunny as it was just the cold water! Long time, no see. I’m going to be more active on here since I’ve sorted out some Weebly account stuff. Last weekend, it was my birthday and out of some of the amazing gifts I got, I got a set of bath bombs from lush! They were really awesome and I loved the colours and smells so I just had to do a little photoshoot thing with them. I’ve never tried to take creative photos before but I really enjoyed doing it. I haven’t tried any of these bath bombs in the bath yet but I sure will soon! The first one is called the Intergalactic bath bomb. It’s blue with glitter - not too much - with a few bands of marbled neon pink and green. It smells fresh with a slightly musky undertone. The frozen bath bomb again has a very fresh scent and it smells just like lush! It’s just light blue with a dark blue band and I think it’s probably my favourite scent. I’ve heard of the Dragons Egg bath bomb before. It’s white with some bright colours running through it and I can’t wait for it to “hatch” in the bath. It’s a sweeter, lemony smell which is awesome! When my sisters first saw the Experimenter bath bomb, they were like “weird shape”. I think that it is a really cool shape and I really think it’s going to turn my bath into a molten rainbow. It’s blue, pink, white and yellow and has the lush smell, not as lemony as the previous one. You know the smell when you walk into a lush shop? Well, it’s just like that! TWILIGHT! (I totally didn’t have a fan girl moment when I saw the Twilight bath bomb.) I was so excited for this one because I’m in the middle of writing a Twilight fan fiction so this was very exciting. Sadly, I don’t think that the bath bomb has anything to do with the great works by Stephanie Meyers. It has the stars and a moon on it and has a slightly muskier smell which I actually really like.
Well there you have it, my bath bombs! I really liked them all and I cannot wait to try them out. Until next time |
Hi, I'm Zoe
I'm a teenager and this is my blog. I update it roughly every other day (I'm a lazy teenager, sometimes I'm too busy wasting my life on YouTube or with fan fiction). Archives
